Things are going good this morning!!! The boys had a good night and have both put on a little weight. Joseph only put on 5 grams, which didn't move his ounces up at all so he is still at 3lb 12.75 oz, and Nicholas put on 30 grams and is now weighing in at 3lb 5.6oz!! After speaking with the nurse last night, she was explaining to me that at around 4lbs the boys will be able to go into an open crib!!! There are some baseline milestones that must be met for this to happen, but she said with their progress she doesn't think it will be an issue! We're praying that in a week or so both boys are out of the incubators and resting comfortably in cribs!!!
We did find out last night that the boys are getting a reputation around the NICU for being the "stinky kids!!!" It's not really their reputation, but apparently they were both a little stinky yesterday so the nurse had to do some major cleansing of both the boys and their rooms!!! It was kind of funny going to see them last night as the nurses were just finishing the clean up!!!

So glad to hear you boys are gaining weight, don't worry about the stinky thing, everyone has those days. I'll bet you boys will be glad to get out of those incubators so you have more freedom. Sorry, missed a couple of days writing to you both, grammy was out running around. Take care little boys, prayers, love, hugs and kisses to ALL.

Sorry I didn't offer those wishes on the official day but we have missed a few days on the blog. Mighty glad to hear about the continued good results and I'm sure they have heard all the talk about getting into a crib. That will be a big milestone and we hope that happens soon.
