Wow 40 days!!! It's kind of unbelievable, but we are very fortunate that most of the days have been positive! My parents and I visited the boys late last night, and it was a great visit!!! I got to assist with the "hands on" for both of the boys, and got to hold them briefly while their beds were made!!! Joseph and Nicholas are both doing great, and are continuing to have their flow assistance decreased. Both boys moved from 4.5 liters per minute down to 4 liters per minute, and there were no negative reactions! Nicholas was also able to remain at "room air" while Joseph was still holding strong in the mid 30's of oxygen assistance.
Joseph now weighs in at 3lb 12oz, and Nicholas is at 3lb 4.75oz! As I'm sure you can see from the pictures they both look pretty healthy albeit they're still very small!!! I hope that Kalleigh and I can visit the boys together tonight and have them both out at once, but we'll see how the big brother holds up!!! Other than that, not too much has changed, which at this point is great news!!!
